As a child P.T. Murphy dreamt of becoming a magician. Inspired by Doug Henning's idea that magic + theater = art, he studied diligently the craft of conjuring. He also studied improvisational theater with Saturday Night Live mentor Del Close. As an actor P.T. Murphy has worked with many of Chicago's finest theatre companies including Shattered Globe Theatre, Northlight Theatre and Irish Repertory.
